Hugo's happy hour.

I have to be honest.

Making friends in a new city is hard. And believe me, working from home doesn't help the situation.

Which is why I was so stoked to meet up with some fellow lady bloggers for a happy hour at Hugo's! We all agreed it was kind of like going on a blind date, except this was way more fun. We drank margaritas, had a tasty dinner and chatted like we were old friends.

Totally looking forward to happy hour round two with our little blogging crew!

*Mallorie was so sweet! She brought a cd of her husband's amazing work for each of us! Shay and I even met up with Mallorie on Friday to hear Dave play. He was fantastic. Be sure to check out his music here.

  1. Glad you're making friends - blogging friends at that! You'll have no problem however as you're so sweet - I know from our short time together at TXSC! I'll be keeping up with you through your blog! Take care!

  3. It was so much fun! And yes, meeting people in a new city is hard. You would think moving to a new big city would be easy with all the people, but it really is difficult to branch out!

I do wish it was like elementary school where you could walk up to someone and ask "Will you be my friend?" and then run off together and pretend-marry boys on the playground and build a house together!

We for sure need to do more dinners/photoshoots/etc together!
